The D oh Double G himself, Snoop Dogg, is launching a line of toys and apparel for America’s “pimp” dogs. Yea, no more frilly pink tutus and cutiepie sweaters for your favorite puppy - he wants to dress like a hip hop dog star!

The new Snoop Dogg brand pet product line by JAKKS Pacific, Inc. will be sold on Amazon.com starting November 21, 2006.

Ivanka Trump, real estate developer, star of the Apprentice and daughter of billionaire Donald Trump, is putting her celebrity status to good use. She is the newest spokesperson for the Little Shelter Animal Rescue.
Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center, one of Long Island’s oldest no-kill shelters, is dedicated to saving all companion animals whose lives are in jeopardy. Through rescue from kill facilities, rehabilitation of sick and un-socialized pets, and a 100% spay/neuter program, Little Shelter hopes to end pet overpopulation and place all dogs and cats in loving homes. Located in Huntington, New York, Little Shelter is the only animal organization outside New York City that is a member of the Mayor’s Alliance.

Looks like Tinkerbelle just got a little sister. Paris Hilton has bought a cute little black chihuahua puppy and is a proud new mommy. No word on her name yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

Though Paris says in the video that it is a new dog, we have discovered that this dog is named Bambi and was bought a few months ago by the heiress. We think she was just telling the paparazzi what they wanted to hear just to get them to leave her alone.
